Stephanie from DSK Jewelry (dskjewelry.blogspot.com) has inspired me to start making my own jewelry. So I ordered some Swarovski beads and the appropriate tools and started learning the tools of the trade. I made my first rosary necklace!! This particular one that I have included the picture of is a rose and a light rose color. I am also making gold ones and black ones...and I must say, they are looking sick! Once I complete them I will post the pics. If you are interested in purchasing a rosary or have a request for a specific design, email me at inquiriesforanita@gmail.com.

Here is a piece from DSK Jewelry. Check her out at dskjewelry.blogspot.com. She is very talented and has amazing pieces.

And more....busy...busy...

And some more...

Here are some additional pictures:

So it has been a long time since I have written on my blog. I was busy moving back to Los Angeles. I have been here for about a month now, still trying to unpack and get settled in. I had to move back in with my folks, so it is a lot getting used to.

I have been busy doing makeup over the weekends, so I have posted some of the pics. I am also coming up with a line of Swarovski Crystal Rosary necklaces and other jewelry. I will be posting pics of those soon as well. So make sure to come back to see those.

Makeup By Anita

I discovered I had an ability to do makeup in college. I was a tomboy growing up and had not worn makeup or done anything having to do with beauty in high school. As I started to go to college, I spent more time on myself and next thing you know people were complimenting me on my makeup. So I started doing makeup for my friends and family. Then people would refer other people to me and that is how I got started doing makeup. I try to keep up-to-date with what looks good and what doesn’t on people – from makeup brands to colors. I find that it is very important to be tasteful and sophisticated. I mostly use MAC makeup because I find that the eye shadow pigment is richer and does the eyes justice when applied.

On my friend Nisha I used the following:
Face:
Studio Finish Concealer applied with 190 Foundation Brush,
Studio Fix Powder applied with 134 Large Powder Brush
Deep Dark Mineralize Skinfinish (bronzer) applied with 168 Large Angled Contour Brush
Margin blush applied with 129 Powder/Blush Brush
Eyes: Shroom on lids with 252 Large Shader Brush ,
Tempting on outer crease with 275 Medium Angled Shading Brush,
Embark on inner crease and bottom outer lid with 219 Pencil Brush,
Carbon on liner with 263 Small Angle Brush,
Embark on brows with 266 Brow Brush
Mascara: Maybelline New York Lash Stylist Mascara in Very Black
Lips: Bronzibar applied with 316 Lip Brush

Here are some samples of my work (the more dramatic looks will be posted soon):
